What to Expect

New?

We get it

When you’re new, you’re uncomfortable. You don’t know what to expect, and everything seems weird. We want you to feel comfortable, because we care about you; we want you to be part of the family – God’s family.

What should I wear?

Whatever you’re comfortable in, The Well is here to welcome you with open arms. We understand that being new can be uncomfortable, but we want to make you feel at home. Join our family and experience God’s love, as we help you bring LIFE to life.

When should I arrive?

If you want to check your kids into the Kids’ Ministry, pick up some coffee, or chat with us at the info counter, you may want to arrive about 15-20 minutes early. Or if you’d rather go “stealth mode” and arrive 5 minutes before, that’s ok too.

Where should I Park?

We have dedicated parking for you, right near the front doors, make sure to take advantage of our First Time Guest parking spots! If you arrive a little later, you can also park in the overflow lot, just to the north of our building. Don’t worry, there will be signs directing you along the way!

Where should I go?

Once you enter the main doors, our Welcome Counter is directly to your left. Or you can make a bee-line to the coffee shop. It’s ok; we do too. Better yet, fill out the Plan Your Visit form and we will have your coffee order ready for you when you arrive!

How's the Teaching?

We tend more towards an expository teaching style, rather than topical. In other words, we try to help you understand God better, help you hear from Him, and encourage you to boldly respond to Holy Spirit’s prompting.

What about my kids?

Our nursery and preschool are just outside the main worship space. Elementary is at the south part of the building – just follow the signs. If you’d rather have them join you in the service, that’s fine too.

How long is the service?

We plan our services to last an hour and 15 minutes. It may go a little longer, so if you have to leave, that’s ok, we know life and schedules get busy!

What is the flow of the service?

We start with announcements, followed by a few songs of praise, then teaching, followed by a time of reflection and songs of worship. We value some time to reflect on what we’ve heard before worshiping God. We find that this service flow better enables us to hear from God and to boldy respond.

How's the music?

Awesome! We love it! But seriously, if you listen to Christian radio, you’ll probably recognize a lot of the songs we sing. We’ve also been known to mix it up with hymns on occasion!

Is it loud?

Our goal is to provide a service that allows you to connect with and worship God. We strive to set the volume to be immersive without being distracting. You should be able to hear the worship team clearly, as well as the rest of the congregation.
