What to Expect When you Come

Our Building

Something very surprising will hit you when you first see The Well's building, we meet in a warehouse. To say the least we are unconventional. When you enter the front door you will be welcomed by our greeters who will assist you in finding our children's check-in (Immerse), where to hang your coat, and most importantly where the coffee is.  

Our Gatherings

As for our Gatherings, we spend a lot of time crafting each service so we can encounter God in different ways. One of the many ways we encounter God is through our times of "Reflection". These times are designed to allow everyone a chance to ponder what God is saying to them in that service. Typically, the Reflection Time consists of tables set up around the room decorated thematically with some type of element on them to help reflection. Sometimes these elements will drive you to interact with people, while other times these elements will cause you to look deeper inside yourself. Our Gatherings are casual. Come wearing what you are comfortable to worship God in!  

Mid Week

During the week our small groups meet at people's homes. We call these "Communitas Groups". Communitas is a Latin noun referring to the very spirit of community. Communitas Groups give each participant the opportunity to grow in their relationship with God through gaining a greater understanding of the Bible (God's Word) as they journey through this life in fellowship with other people. This is our mantra; everything we do fits into one of these three areas.  

Come Freely

We are a community of people who are in process. We have imperfect messy lives, but we are pursuing and experiencing a transforming relationship with Jesus and with each other. Everybody is welcome here, whatever your story, your questions, doubts or struggles. Therefore, our weekend worship gatherings are a safe place where we can invite our friends to wrestle with questions of faith and grow to fully follow Christ. So we invite you to come freely and experience God today.  

Drink Deeply

We're all about doing life together in community and being intentional about our growth. God never intended for us to go through this life alone… that's one of the reasons why being part of a church community is so important. The next step in connecting at The Well is to get involved in a "Communitas Group." Communitas is a Latin noun referring to the very spirit of community. Communitas groups give each participant the opportunity to grow in their relationship with God through gaining a greater understanding of the Bible (God's Word) as they journey through this life with other people. We invite you to drink deeply from God's word and the community of people following Him.  

Serve Passionately

The Well is a place where people discover their gifts and use them to serve. There are dozens of people each week who use their time and energy to create the worship gatherings, mentor our children, lead Communitas Groups, welcome guests, make coffee and much more. We believe that we are here to be an active part of God's plan in the lives of the people around us. This means serving is focused on more than just The Well. We seek to serve those in our community by feeding the hungry through the local food bank. We seek to serve those in our global community through providing clean water and a medical facility in a small village in South Sudan. So check out all the ways you can use your gifts to serve passionately at and through The Well!
